COVID-19
Update - 07.01.2021
As a provider of Medical/Health services, my business can remain open (albeit restricted and under stringent conditions) during this current lockdown period. However - this is only where there is an immediate medical need.

A condition/injury causing unbearable pain levels, inability to perform activities of essential daily living/quality of life, inability to sleep, inability to work or causing adverse affects on mental health would be considered an immediate medical need.

My clients needs will be assessed on a case by case basis to determine if treatment is essential and appropriate at this time, Where conditions are less urgent; general aches and pains, preventative measures, minor or self limiting conditions - appointments will need to be deferred until after the lockdown. In the meantime I am always happy to support people with self care advice/remote support via telephone or Zoom!

Procedures - Please read before your appointment!

Whilst my procedures have changed slightly since the start of the current pandemic to ensure I'm doing everything possible to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19, nothing has changed with regard to my enthusiasm and passion when working with my clients! It has been so lovely being able to do treatments for people again - I'd really missed it.
I am constantly monitoring and following the Government guidelines, so if I'm doing something slightly differently to what I have before - this will be why!

I completely understand people may feel anxious about receiving a close contact treatment during these times, and am more than happy to have a chat about the procedures I have in place.

As I work out of 2 locations, there are slightly differing procedures in place:

Appointments in Purton

On the day of your appointment, please can you complete the above screening form before you arrive.

My treatment room is separate to my house. Access is via a side gate, so no need to come through my home.
There is parking available on the drive.

If you arrive before you appointment time, please can you wait to be greeted. I allocate a certain amount of time between each treatment to carry out a full clean, change all couch covers / towels etc, ventilate the room and sometimes treat myself to a cup of tea!

As this is our family home, due to the risk of cross contamination, I'm currently unable to offer toilet facilities.

You will be asked to use a hand sanitiser (provided) when you enter the treatment room and to wear a face covering when we are <1 metre to ensure adherence to social distancing regulations.

I'll also take your temperature using an infrared (non contact) thermometer.

I'll be fully kitted up with the necessary PPE requirements.
